NSK has announced an updated range of A-series agridisc hub bearing units. The new range indicated by the AS suffix covers three common sizes: AHU28117AS-01 (4 holes), AHU28117AS-02 (5 holes), and AHU28117AS-03 (6 holes).
“These new products offer many attributes that help improve performance in difficult agricultural applications,” the company said in a statement.
These include contamination prevention with “excellent” sealing function, maintenance-free performance thanks to lifelong lubrication and a powerful housing that promotes high moment loads and speeds.
It added that the units are long lasting, easy to install and quick to replace.
“These properties are ideal for growing and evolving markets such as agriculture, where mechanical weeding is rapidly expanding in line with the desire to stop using glyphosate. There is also increasing demand for integrated solutions that provide powerful sealing capabilities in harsh applications such as tillage.”
NSK has been producing Agri Disc Hubs at the Neuweg production facility in Munderkingen, Germany for over a decade.
It said the new AS series is ideal for use in equipment such as cover crop units, tillers, front packers and seeders, row cleaners, lawn mowers, and finger weeders.
