Expo to give small businesses a boost

THE Ibhayi Small Business Chamber, a non-profit company affiliated to the Small Business Institute,  is preparing to host its highly anticipated Small Business Expo 2025 on Saturday, 25 October, at the prestigious African Sky venue in Gqeberha.

This year, demand for participation has been unprecedented, with all indoor exhibition stands officially sold out. This reflects the event’s rapidly growing popularity and the robust desire for growth and collaboration within the local small business sector.

The Expo is geared up to offer a dynamic day of networking, commerce and inspiration, featuring:

  • Micro and small business exhibitors: A diverse array of businesses from across Nelson Mandela Bay will showcase innovative products, services, and essential solutions.
  • Young entrepreneurs (ages 10-18): A dedicated platform will feature inspiring future business leaders sharing their creativity and entrepreneurial ventures.
  • Leading motor brands: Several key car dealerships will display their latest models, with selected vehicles available for on-site test drives, providing valuable motoring solutions for business fleets.

“The Small Business Expo is more than just an exhibition—it’s a powerful celebration of the innovation and resilience of our city’s entrepreneurs,” said the Chamber’s spokesperson. “The overwhelming response from exhibitors confirms the vibrant hunger for connection and growth in the Bay’s economy.”

Organisers said the event is open to the public and is expected to attract a large audience of business owners, families, and consumers eager to network, explore partnerships, and support local entrepreneurs.
