Control systems company scores in digitisation ranking

THE German economic magazine Focus Money and its consumer testing brand “Deutschlandtest”, commissioned the German Institute for Management & Economy Research (IMWF) to carry out an extensive study to determine the “Digital Champions 2023”. GEMÜ was awarded a ranking of fifth place among 91 companies recognized in the “machinery and plant construction” sector.

The IMWF believes that companies that take a bold approach to digitalisation will be the long-term winners in their sectors. To determine these businesses, the study thoroughly analysed 12,000 companies’ statements in the categories of “digitalisation”, “technology” and “innovation”.

In the “machinery and plant construction” sector, Ingelfingen-based technology company GEMÜ achieved a rating of 94.4 out of 100 possible points and came fifth out of 91 companies awarded the title.

“This study further confirms our strategy to always push ahead with digitalisation at GEMÜ all around the world. I’m confident that progressive digitalisation offers the GEMÜ Group many opportunities. Our goal is to be successful in the long term by moving forwards and identifying opportunities at an early stage,” says the managing partner of the GEMÜ Group, Gert Müller.

The GEMÜ Group develops and manufactures valve, measurement and control systems for liquids, vapours and gases.
