LEADING engineering consultancy Zutari has appointed new office managers in Gqeberha and East London. In Gqeberha, Andisiwe Rweqane, a professional civil engineer (Pr. Eng.) with 13 years’ experience across Africa, takes on the role of office manager.

According to Zutari, Rweqane has managed major water, dam, and hydropower projects, bringing a wealth of expertise in project planning, contract management, and strategic leadership. She has successfully led multidisciplinary teams of over 100 professionals and has been recognised with the Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity (EDI) Champion Award in 2022 for her commitment to empowerment and mentorship.
Her career spans senior positions at leading engineering consultancies where she managed multi-million-dollar infrastructure projects in South Africa, Lesotho, Ghana, Zambia, Mozambique and Zimbabwe. Rweqane holds an MBA from the University of the Free State and a BSc in Civil Engineering from the University of KwaZulu-Natal.

In East London, the company has appointed Gcina Deliwe as office manager. According to Zutari, Deliwe brings over 22 years of experience in the infrastructure sector, with deep expertise in project and programme management, infrastructure oversight, and quantity surveying.

A registered professional quantity surveyor (PrQS) and member of the Association of South African Quantity Surveyors (ASAQS), she has held senior roles including senior manager: infrastructure management services at the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) and infrastructure oversight specialist at the Eastern Cape Provincial Treasury.
